About our founder
Alex Essebier is a seasoned data scientist and AI strategist with over 11 years of experience helping businesses unlock value from data. With a PhD in Bioinformatics and a career spanning industries like retail, insurance, mining, and education, she brings deep technical expertise paired with a rare talent for making complex ideas easy to understand.
Before founding Clairum AI, Alex led teams and delivered high-impact AI projects at leading Australian consultancies. Along the way, she noticed a recurring gap: while large organisations were rapidly adopting AI, many small and mid-sized businesses were being left behind not for lack of interest, but because they lacked tailored guidance and trusted support.
